Prisonstuck VIII, continued from LJ

[For someone who claimed he didn't need to rest, the Psiioniic has been sleeping for a long time.]

[Dualscar supposes a manic episode like he had earlier could really take it out of a troll, not to mention the fight in the prison the day before, and being a prisoner, and before that on the run, and before that a slave, and everything else running backwards through the Psiioniic's entire miserable life. Besides all that, living with him, Dualscar, can't be easy, even if it's only been a day, and he half-expects the Psiioniic to ask him to be returned to the prison when he wakes up.]

[Dualscar hasn't slept at all, not really. He can doze in a recuperacoon, but to really sleep, he needs to be underwater. There's nothing physically preventing him from sleeping on land, but for the mental tick that forces his gills open an hour into sleep and leaves him gasping painfully for breath a moment later. He knows well enough why that happens, but he pushes it away every time it creeps into the corners of his mind, nibbling at the edges of his sanity like a longtailed squeakbeast. Either way, he's still curled around the Psiioniic, spooning up behind him while he sleeps, and waiting for him to awake.]

[Waiting, and thinking about all they spoke of the day before.]

[What, go back to a prison and away from this glorious library? Dualscar, please. You underestimate the Psiioniic's utter nerdery.]

[You also underestimate his affection for you, but that's okay. In all honesty, he isn't quite sure of its depths either. A part of him that still has reservations about this whole thing- which is a rather large part- isn't sure he wants to know.]

[As awakening comes to him, he's aware of the presence still at his back. It's comforting to have that again- someone being there. All this time around other trolls has left him with this need for someone, anyone, to be there.]

[Gently, just to show he's awake, he guides one hand down to lay over Dualscar's.]

[Either that or he underestimates his own appeal. Dualscar knows he's good at blackrom, but anything even faintly red and he's completely lost. He's spent most of the time while the Psiioniic slept convincing himself that he's irreparably screwed up everything.]

[But then the Psiioniic puts his hand over his, and Dualscar makes a soft, surprised sound. Before he can overthink it, he curls his fingers through the Psiioniic's, joining their hands together.]

[Funny, sounds like every other moment of his life, too.]

[As the slime warms around their fingers, faintly, he wonders what this makes them. He half knows, half doesn't. They've never said anything to one another about it, just awkward steps with neither of them knowing the way.]

[The Psiioniic isn't the only one being reminded of the prison cell, and a shudder wracks through Dualscar's entire body, and with a low, quiet groan... he pulls away.]

S-stop... wwait, hold on... fuck!

[Unhooking his leg but keeping his hand right where it is, the Psiioniic leans back on the table and resists the urge to get snappy. He knows the other can't help it.]}

Waiting and holding on. We're on our own now. Ith it the droneth?

Huh? Drones?

[Dualscar looks around, and sure enough, they're being stared at by a pair of drones.]

Get out of here!

[The drones scramble over each other getting out of the kitchen, and Dualscar leans his head forward, resting it on the Psiioniic's shoulder.]

No, it's not that. It's...

[He takes a deep, shuddering sigh.]

You can't... you can't let me be in control. If I'm in control, I'm... I'll hurt you. I wwon't wwant to, but I wwill.

[Dualscar makes a high-pitched, strangling noise that is part laughter, part whale sound, and part sob.]

I don't knoww howw to do this wwithout hurting you!

[That sound nearly kills him. It just about spears his heart right through his chest and makes him ache. How broken do you have to be when all those jagged edges of yours can't even let you touch another? The Psiioniic just holds on tighter and presses their heads together. Gently, their horns bump.]

Quiet, now, quiet. It'sth alright if you heart me now and then, you'll get uthed to it. Thooner or later. Everything will be okay. [Say it often enough. Might come true.] I'll thow you, I'll teach you. Quiet now, love.

[They can actually get this far and mean that little nickname honestly. How things change.]

We won't do it in here. Alright?

[It's not that Dualscar can't touch him; he can touch him just fine, he proved that back in the prison cell. It's that he can't trust himself to keep up with this soft, gentle touching, this kind where there is no intention to cause harm or injury. The more aroused he gets, the more he will want to slip back into old habits, into old ways, and he's afraid he'll hurt the Psiioniic again.]

[All he knows is blackrom, and he can't trust himself to not resort to it.]

[He stiffens at that nickname, and shakes his head, making that strangling, choking sound again, although now it's less laughter and more sob.]

Don't call me that. Please... don't ever, ever call me that...

Quiet. Quiet now.

[It's all that he can really say, and he continues to stroke Dualscar. God, they are amongst the most fucked up pair of trolls in all of Alternia conquered land, aren't they? A bipolar idiot with self esteem issues and a seadweller who's terrified of ruining something as simple as kissing.]

[The Psiioniic continues to make the same soft noises, old noises he remembers his own lusus making when he was young and screaming because the voices wouldn't stop, they never stopped and there was too much energy and he didn't know what to do. It probably isn't the same for a seadweller, but still. Technicalities.]

Let'sth jutht move, alright? Come on now, 22, let'sth go back to the library.

[The soft, soothing noises actually help. Dualscar's lusus tended to make sounds that were more felt than heard, but these are nice too, and he leans into the Psiioniic's hand, his breathing rough and jarring.]

... okay. Yeah... let's go there, to the library...

[The library is actually the one place in the hive Dualscar hasn't pailed in before; he was always too worried about something getting destroyed to take any of his conquests there. Reluctantly, he pulls away from the Psiioniic, dropping both his hands to his sides and looking at the floor.]

[NOPE]

[That is to say, no dropping of the hands. The awkwardness is simply unavoidable, probably, so there's no helping that. But he won't let this be... distant. He's had enough of that in his life, even when it comes to something that's supposed to be as intimate as this. So the Psiioniic reaches down, entwining their fingers once again as he brings up one of Dualscar's hands up to his face.]

[Perhaps pointedly, even, he makes sure to kiss each one of his fingers. Twice. For good measure and not his own compulsions, really.]

[Then he slides off of the table and begins to pull Dualscar along.]

[What is it with the Psiioniic and Dualscar's hands, anyway? The seatroll is starting to wonder if the mage has a hand fetish to go along with his apparent sexual attraction to oranges.]

[He lets himself be led, though, docily following along as the other troll guides him to the library. He is in no way surprised that the Psiioniic finds the room with no trouble at all.]

[He is a troll of simple needs, alright. And if those needs include a rather obsessive amount of oranges, Dualscar's hands, and freedom, don't judge.]

[And of course he finds the room easily. No one expected otherwise.]

[The room is still as beautiful as ever, simply elegant and quiet. The Psiioniic had gone as fast as he could before, still holding onto Dualscar's hand, but not any longer. This time, he keeps his steps quiet and slow, thumb rubbing over his partner's knuckles. When he finally comes to that patch of moonslight and desks, he nearly feels his heart split and leave him. The two moons are situated in a way that splits their light into the area, dual purple and gold. The duality makes his head spin so much in pleasantness, he doesn't even think too hard about the other meaning those colors now hold.]

[Instead, he pulls Dualscar along a bit further before he sinks down to the ground. He looks up at Dualscar expectantly, still holding onto his hand.]

[Dualscar can grant the Psiioniic two of those three things. The third... well, let's not think about the third.]

[He loves the library the best when it's like this, cool and quiet and beautiful, with the light from both moons pouring in through the skylights. He does, however, notice that it's both purple and golden light twined together, and that makes him catch his breath in his throat, his fins blushing out to their tips.]

[Then the Psiioniic is sitting down, and at first Dualscar thinks his legs have gone out from under him or something, but he looks far too pleased with himself to have just collapsed. Awkwardly, Dualscar folds his legs underneath him and sits down too, sitting with crossed legs and facing the other troll.]

Noww wwhat?

[Wait, don't answer that.]

[The Psiioniic crawls closer to Dualscar until he's nearly on his lap. He runs his hands over those broad shoulders and firm chest before he very quietly begins to strip him. There's no rush to it. It's careful and gentle, and each bit of skin that is revealed has him touching it softly in wondrous curiosity. At this rate, it may take a very long time for just Dualscar to be undressed.]

[Dualscar keeps very, very still as the Psiioniic crawls all over him and touches him everywhere. Somewhere, in the back of his mind, he knows where this is going, but he's afraid that if he speaks or does anything, the moment will be ruined and they'll never recapture it, so he keeps his mouth shut, his only responses to the slow stripping little gasps when the Psiioniic touches him and the way his facial fins are slowly, languidly fanning back and forth in the cool moonlight.]

[There are going to be a lot of little gasps, then. Because the Psiioniic can't keep his hands off. There's a reason he has such a fondness for fingers and hands. They're his way of learning more about something, more than sight or sound or scent or any of that. All the little scars he finds, the dips and curves, they tell him so much more than he could have learned just by looking. And there is so much to learn.]

[It takes work due to the unique nature of Dualscar's clothing, not to mention how very tight it is, but eventually, he has the seadweller sitting bare and vulnerable before him. The Psiioniic guide his finger down his throat and to his hips, eyes following the path. Then, he moves back just enough to give himself room.]

[In comparison, it's nothing to slip out of his own clothes, particularly since he isn't taking that slow and fascinated approach he did with Dualscar. They're off and done with, joining the pile of clothes that's grown.]

[Since being taken care of so much better, the Psiioniic's body has begun a slow return to its previous state. It is halfway between an impoverished wench and an actual muscular troll, albeit of the lithe and quick variety. And there are scars, oh there are scars. Not all of them are horrendous; in fact, few are more than simple pale patches of skin.]

[Not like the two matching and jagged scars on his ribs.]

[The Psiioniic doesn't seem to mind the vulnerability. He simply manuevers until he's almost sitting in the others lap, and then his hands are back to exploring all of Dualscar's body. After a moment, he leans his head down so that his mouth can do the same. As best he can, he tries to keep his fangs out of the way, wanting his lips to be the focus.]

[It's not that Dualscar hasn't been naked in front of other troll's before, although it is true that he tries very hard to keep at least some of his clothing on when he's hatepailing. It's not that he feels like the Psiioniic is any physical threat to me; he knows damn well that in a test of physical strength, he could easily take the other troll. It's that strange emotional vulnerability, that way that only the Psiioniic makes him feel, like instead of just being unclothed, he's actually naked in front of him, and once he's been stripped and the other troll moves away to take off his own clothes, Dualscar curls around himself, tucking his knees up under his chin and holding his legs close with both arms.]

[The Psiioniic's body isn't half-bad, and Dualscar examines it with barely hidden interest, once he's naked too. He can see the lines of a very handsome adult troll emerging from under the wasted slave's body, and he grips his wrists with both hands, to keep himself from getting too grabby and pawing at him rudely.]

[Then the Psiioniic is touching him again, first with his hands and then with his mouth, and Dualscar slowly unfurls, his limbs gradually relaxing, as he lets the other do as he will.]

[For now, all that he wills simply involves touching. There's nothing more, nothing less. The important thing here is to make sure Dualscar realize completely that he's not going to hurt him. The pleasure is going to come eventually- at least if they do things right and things don't go wrong- but in due time.]

[After some very long few minutes as Dualscar relaxes beneath his touch, the Psiioniic has kissed nearly every inch of his torso that he can reach. He trails the gestures of affection up his throat and let's his breath brush against those sensitive fins. His scrawny chest bumps against his shoulder as he rubs the heel of his palm gently against Dualscar's own chest, and then he's carefully trying to guide him down against the floor. The pile of clothing they've created should help keep it from being too hard, hopefully.]

[Dualscar still doesn't get it, but he's not fighting it anymore. He still doesn't understand why the Psiioniic isn't trying to hurt him, but he's just going to accept it and let the other troll do as he will. The worst that could happen is the Psiioniic will try to kill him, and it wouldn't be the first time that's happened during pailing, so he's confident he can deal with it.]

[But he doesn't think the Psiioniic wants to hurt him, and while that's confusing as all fuck... he's a little curious to see where this is going. It feels nice--no, scratch that, it feels amazing--as the Psiioniic works over his torso, kissing and touching him everywhere, and although Dualscar tenses when he gets close to his gills, he ignores them and just keeps up with the slow, gentle affection. Then he's near his fins again, and Dualscar gives in and lets them fan towards the other troll, towards those sweet sensations, lets them seek a kind of stimulation they've never known.]

[When the Psiioniic tries to ease him backwards, though, Dualscar braces himself on his hands and clears his throat to get the other's attention. When he speaks, his voice is higher pitched than normal and plaintive, nowhere near his usual low, throaty growl.]

You're not... you're not going to turn me on my face, right?

[The question makes him pause, and the Psiioniic draws himself upright again. His body brushes against Dualscar's as he presses in close, and he cups the side of his face with one hand. Another sweet gentle kiss to his mouth and then he rests their foreheads together so he can stare into those purple eyes.]

I want to thee your face. [Another fleeting little kiss.] And you mine.

[So no. No turning him on his face.]

[Staring into those mismatched, opaque eyes, Dualscar finds him reassured, and he lets the Psiioniic ease him backwards. There's some fussing and grumbling as he gets their discarded clothing arranged under him, but it doesn't last long, and soon he's laying stretched out, both hands up and reaching, trying to hold on to the other troll in the bath of multicolored moonlight.]

[There's just a bit of a hum as Dualscar touches him, and the Psiioniic allows it, simply keeping himself over the other troll by bracing his elbows against the floor. For now, he seems content to keep their faces pressed together like this. Their hips are brushing against one another, and he isn't straddling Dualscar. Not yet, anyway. His fingers run through that wavy hair once again.]

You athked me once what I liked... But what of you, 22?

[What he likes... what kind of loaded question is that? Dualscar could answer, but he knows the Psiioniic won't like it, considering it would be full of pain and anguish and forcing himself on others. It would be all blackrom, because the simple answer is... he doesn't know. He has no idea what he likes in redrom, because he's never done it before.]

[So instead, he dodges the question and asks one of his own instead.]

Wwhy are you calling me 22?

[The reason for dodging that question is as transparent as clear water, but he won't press it. This will be a learning experience for... both of them, he guesses, and it would make him nervous if he wasn't on yet another end of the emotional spectrum, like always. Calmly, he kisses the other again before trailing the kisses down to his chest. A part of him wants to investigate those gills, but he's never laid with a seadweller before. Would that be acceptable or not? Best to stick with what he knows for now.]

Becauthe I like it. Duality.

[A kiss down to Dualscar's stomach. His hand runs against his hipbone.]

Dualthcar. Two-thcar. And then I thought about it further.

[In his travels downwards, he completely ignores Dualscar's bulge, instead kissing all along his leg and the inside of his thigh. His fingers are fleeting and curious against Dualscar's rear.]

If I wrote it, I'd replace your eth with a two. [Finally stopping, he rests his head on Dualscar's leg to look up at him with a small grin.] And it ith the betht number.

[If he won't call him 'love', then he'll move onto the vastly superior option.]

[That is vastly superior to being called "love."]

[Dualscar thinks on it for a moment, then he grins down at the Psiioniic, a little bit of his old, rakish good humor surfacing.]

You are silly, you knoww that?

[But it sets him at ease, all the same, and he reaches down to run a hand through the Psiioniic's hair, ghosting his fingers over one set of horns.]

It ith perfect logic and not even a horrorterror could convince me otherwithe.

[There's a small laugh and he nods his head up, bumping it against Dualscar's fingers.]

Like it?

[It's the first name, since the one his lusus gave him, that isn't a joke or an insult. And that includes the one everyone knows him by now.]

I do.

[He carefully wraps his fingers around one of the Psiioniic's horns and starts gently rubbing it.]
